Stratosphere

The Stratosphere Hotel is a hotel located in Las Vegas, just north of the Las Vegas Strip. It's too far to walk from the main strip, so you'll either need a car or bus passes on The Deuce to get around.

As a stratosphere guest, you get complimentary admission to the Stratosphere Tower during the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm. Since it's part of your resort fee, you may as well go up to enjoy the view!

The Room

The room at the Stratosphere Hotel was nothing special. In the room we were staying, there were two queen beds and a TV. The window provided a view of the roof of another part of the building, and a partial view of the pool. (We were staying on the 16th floor - "3-16" to be exact. The room has a strange numbering system where the first digit denotes the wing of the building, and the next two digits are the floor).

I could not believe how cold the water was. Each day, the air temperature was quite warm, but the water was absolutely freezing. Me, and many other people, had much difficulty getting in. (I never did get completely in). The air was hot, but the water was unbearably cold. I still think it may be refrigerated. The hot tub was quite nice with a small waterfall.

Parking

There is a free self-park parking lot provided at the Stratosphere. There's a crossing bridge on the 3rd floor of the parking garage that will get you to the casino.

Cost

Similar to other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, the cost of staying at the Stratosphere can vary wildly depending on when you visit. Due to its location, it is often one of the cheapest hotels available.
