The Deuce (Las Vegas Bus)

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Overall Experience: 7 / 10
Start Date:

The Deuce is the "tourist" bus service line in Las Vegas. The Deuce goes up and down the Las Vegas Strip. It is quite convenient - there are stops located outside each major casino (or group of casinos). Unlike the monorail, you never need to walk very far with the Deuce. The Deuce also services Fremont Street (for the Fremont Street Experience). The double decker bus also offers a neat view of the strip.

The Deuce is often late or delayed - I have waited over an hour for a single bus to pass. (And by that time, many other people were waiting too, making it very difficult to get on). However, that is a rarity - usually they arrive fairly frequently. For the cost, The Deuce is still quite a good value.

You can purchase a bus pass from the bus driver - just feed your money (exact change only) into the machine when you first step on the bus. (If you already have a bus pass, just swipe it through the card reader as you walk on).

Cost

The Deuce is quite affordable - $2 one way, or $5 all day! The "All day" is actually a 24-hour period, so if you purchase the all day pass at 10:00 pm, it is valid until 10:00 pm the following day. Exact change is required to purchase a bus pass.
