The Twin Falls are the first popular waterfall along The Road To Hana in Maui. Unfortunately, they're not located very close to the road, and for a waterfall, they're not all that impressive.

To get to the Twin Falls, look for where the Hana Highway restarts its numbering (from Highway 36 to Highway 360). This is around the intersection with Route 400. Park your car just past the bridge that's after Mile Marking 2. There are probably a lot of other cars here, since it's a popular tourist spot. There is also a fruit stand here where you can purchase some fruit. The signs tell you not to leave any valuables in your car. All the glass on the ground from smashed windows also offers good encouragement. The trail to get to the waterfall is approximately one mile.

Once you get to the end of the trail, you may have to trudge through a shallow pool to get to the waterfall. Some people go swimming by the waterfall, although the water looks pretty dirty.

Considering all the effort it takes to get to this waterfall, nobody in our group thought it was worth the effort of stopping to see it. There are much nicer stops along the way.

Estimated Visiting Time

This stop will take between 60-75 minutes, depending on how quickly you can walk along the path to the waterfall.
