The national maritime museum is a museum located in Greenwich, just outside of London. It celebrates the maritime history of the English and has a number of sea-faring artifacts. The museum contained model boats, old dishes, medals and trophies, and areas for kids to play in. There was a small bit of history about the British naval tradition, but it wasn't nearly as extensive as I thought it should have been.

At the time I visited, the museum was undergoing an extensive renovation.

There are a couple other things worth seeing in the area - the Queen's House and The Royal Observatory.

Cost

Entrance to the National Maritime Museum is free.
