The Little Mermaid on Broadway

The Little Mermaid is a Disney play on Broadway. It is a pretty typical Disney production - there are colorful costumes, lively songs, and tells a Disney story that most people are probably familiar with from the Little Mermaid movie. Although Little Mermaid is just what you expect from a Disney play on Broadway, I was slightly disappointed in it. I didn't think it was quite as good as other Disney plays, such as the Lion King.

I didn't think the sets were as elaborate as they could have been, or that the songs were as catchy as they should be. There were a lot of songs that were added just for the Broadway production, and they weren't nearly as enjoyable as the original songs from the movie. In spite of that, it was still an enjoyable show. If you have seen other Disney productions, you will know what to expect.

The Little Mermaid is a very family friendly production. Cushions are available to help kids see over the adults. The kids in the audience also get quite excited at various parts of the show.

We paid $121 for tickets. On some days, you may be able to find half price tickets at the TKTS booth.
