Overall Experience: 6 / 10
Start Date: Wednesday, May 5, 2010

There are currently two metro lines in the Rome subway system. They form an 'X' shape, and meet at the Termini station in the middle. That is the only station where you can connect between the trains.

The metro system makes it quick to get around, although they don't go to many of the main tourist sites in the old part of the city. There are subway stops near The Vatican, The Colosseum, and The Spanish Steps.

The metro costs 1€ per ride. Daily or multi-day passes are also available.
