The Spanish Steps are a wide set of steps located in Rome. They are a popular tourist attraction, and a good place to sit and take a rest. The steps lead from a piazza on the lower level to a church at the top. The area is quite touristy, and there are a number of gelato shops and restaurants at the bottom of the steps. There isn't much to see, but visiting the steps is a fun touristy thing to do if you're in the area.

There are a lot of local people trying to sell knock-off handbags and "rolex" watches. There are also a large number of people that will try to give you a rose, and then demand payment for it.
