Restaurant Pizzeria S. Croce is located in the Santa Croce Piazza. It's a nice place to sit outside and have a meal and watch people going by in the piazza with the Santa Croce Basilica in the background. The food was all typical good Italian food at reasonable prices.
The restaurant was casual and busy at lunch. We were lucky to get one of the last tables remaining outside.

The service was fast. Our food arrived quickly, as did our bill.

The salad was great - the mozzarella was fresh and moist, and the tomatoes were flavorful. This salad came on a bed of lettuce, and topped with basil. Olive oil and vinegar were served on the side.
Lasagna
classic Bolognese
This was a good lasagna. It was simple but tasty and just the right size for lunch.
