Piazza di Giorgio Cafe

Piazza Di Giorgio Cafe is a cafe located in The Shops Pier, just off the Atlantic City Boardwalk. It's on the upper level, and is the most affordable place to dine there. We weren't impressed with the menus at any of the other places, and we didn't feel like waiting awhile anyway, so this seemed like the perfect spot to have dinner. The quality of the food isn't the greatest, but it's adequate. It had the feel of a New York City deli - all it was missing was the "make your own salads".

Service

Just go up to the counter at the station you're interested in, and tell them what you're interested in. Take your food on a tray to the cashier at the exit.

The Greek Salad was mostly lettuce. That was a bit disappointing - the salad they have displayed looks like it has way more vegetables than you actually get. The salad was alright otherwise. We asked for the dressing on the side.

The Italian Sausage was very greasy, and quite delicious. They took one long piece of sausage, and cut it in half to warm it. It was served with peppers and onions that were fried in lots of oil. Yum!

The Grande Burrito was a pretty decent burrito. It was mostly rice, and you had the option of chicken/beef, pinto beans/black beans, and optionally onions and cheese. It was served with lettuce on the side.
