The Pool

Santa Clara is a beautiful city. The weather is beautiful all year around - it never gets too hot or too cold. I stayed in this hotel during the SDWest 2007 conference that was held just up the street. This hotel is located very close to the "Great America" amusement park, and also quite close to the Intel Museum.

Everything about this hotel was 4-star quality. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with small gardens and palm trees. The lobby was quite large and nicely decorated, with a starbucks kiosk in one corner.

There is a buffet breakfast offered at the hotel - you can get a custom omlette made, and enjoy many hot breakfast foods.

Some of the rooms back onto a courtyard where the pool is located. These rooms (pictured here) offer a small outdoor sitting area, and easy access to the pool.

Cost

This certainly isn't the cheapest hotel in the area - check their website for current rates. If you're bringing a car, also expect to pay for parking (approximately $10/day). Both wired and wireless internet access were available for an additional free ($10/day).
