Hampton Inn Wytheville

Hampton Inn is a chain of hotels. This location is in Wytheville, VA. There are also a number of other hotels in the area. This hotel looked fairly modern and new. There was construction going on outside our window - it could possibly have been another hotel, or an extension to this one.

This hotel did have a small indoor pool, but I didn't visit it. The hotel also offered free wireless internet access, which was quite convenient!

The Room

Two Queen Beds

The hotel room was what you'd expect from a typical 3-star hotel. This room had two queen beds. Everything was clean. The room provided a small fridge and microwave, which I thought was a nice touch. There was also a desk, which was convenient when using the provided internet.

The bathroom was quite nice and clean, but like other Hampton Inn's we've been to, this one didn't have a fan in the bathroom! After showering, it was quite humid. After four people showered, it felt like a rain forest.

The Hot Breakfast

I think all Hampton Inn's try to offer what they call a "hot breakfast". This is a typical continental breakfast with one hot item. On the day we visited, the hot item was scrambled eggs, but they looked strange, so I didn't try them. The breakfast provided quite a good selection - there was toast/bagels, cereal, donuts and danishes, and even some fruit.

Check the Hampton Inn website for room rates on the nights you are interested in, since room rates vary. I paid approximately $80/night.
