The Folies Bergere Theater

The Folies Bergere is a traditional Las Vegas show, held at the Tropicana Hotel. The Tropicana hotel looks a little bit dated compared to the other large hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, but it's not too bad. The show itself is reasonably enjoyable. It's just what you'd expect from a traditional Vegas show - there are girls dancing (including a can-can), large feathery costumes, and a comedian.

The show takes you through the decades highlighting music, dancing, and clothing from each era. I thought the singing was ok, the dancing was excellent, and the acrobatics were neat. The comedian was very funny without being crude. Some of the sets and costumes were quite spectacular.

There are two performances nightly - a covered performance earlier in the evening (7:30 pm), and a later topless show (10:00 pm). The topless performance is tasteful and only a few scenes are topless. The seating is mostly at tables on cheap chairs, with a couple of booths.
