Ali'i Kula Lavender Cafe

The Ali'i Kula Lavender Cafe is a small cafe attached to the side of the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm. They're just a cafe - the only food they offer are lavender scones. The seating area is outdoors, and does offer a nice view of the side of the mountain, with the ocean in the distance.

Cost

Some of the merchandise at the store seemed overpriced, but the prices at the cafe seemed fairly reasonable. Scones were $2.50 each.

Dress

Very casual, although the temperature at this altitude is a bit cooler than it is down by the beaches.

A lavender scone

At only $2.50, this lavender scone is a pretty good deal. It is fairly large, but can easily be finished by just one person. There is a toaster oven provided to heat up the scone. Jam and butter are also available for free.

The scone was pretty buttery, and had a mild lavender flavor (but not too much). The lavender lilikoi jelly was quite good.

This brownie tasted like a good chocolate fudge brownie. It had a strong lavender aftertaste that I thought ruined the chocolate brownie flavor.

The ice tea had a very strange flavor. Nobody in our group thought it was good, and we ended up leaving most of it.

The lemonade was pretty good for lemonade. It only had a faint lavender flavor.
