Sorza is a nice Italian restaurant with modern decor located on the main street on the smaller island in Paris, right across the bridge from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Overall, we were pleased with the quality of the food here. Everything was tasty, and the prices were fairly reasonable for this area.

Dress

Fairly casual - it's a fairly touristy area, so most people are just dressed in comfortable clothes

Cost

Either a starter and a main, or a main and a dessert was available for 15.85€

Service

There was one waitress for the entire restaurant, and she spoke English reasonably well. She was very busy, so the service was a little bit slow.

Items Ordered

salade de roquette & parmesan

rocket salad & parmesan
Cost:15.85€, along with a main dish

I think a rocket salad just means an arugula salad. There were some greens in this salad, some parmesan cheese, sun dried tomatoes, olives, a bit of pesto, and a vinaigrette dressing. It was all pretty tasty.

mozzarella di buffala, tomates cerises, basilic

buffala mozzarella, tomatoes, basil
Cost:15.85€, along with a main dish

Just like the rocket salad, there were some greens here, some very tasty tomatoes, pesto, and a delicious dressing. The buffalo mozzarella was creamy with a mild flavor - this was a very tasty salad.

risotto forestier

risotto with wild mushrooms
Cost:15.85€, along with a starter

The mushroom risotto was very creamy. The mushrooms were in a nice sauce, and they gave this dish a great flavor. The portion was a perfect lunch size.

spaghetti au pistou

spaghetti with pesto
Cost:15.85€, along with a starter

The spaghetti was good, but fairly plain. The pesto was decent, but it was lacking any accompaniment. The dish was just spaghetti with pesto. I noticed that other tables were served a bread bowl, but we didn't receive any bread. That might have been because the waitress was so busy.
