Queen's Landing

The Queen's Landing is a Vintage Hotel property located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, right at the canal opening to Lake Ontario. The hotel is a short 4-minute walk from the main town strip. The hotel offers a bit of luxury, and can be a great romantic destination. The building has a vintage look, but the rooms are modern and clean.

The Room

Deluxe Room

The Deluxe room was fairly large and included a gas fireplace, which is a nice addition through most of the year in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The room had a small window with a view of the harbor and the water. The bed looked fairly new and was comfortable. My only complaint about the room, is that there was a moon shaped window above the bed with no covering. We woke up early in the morning with the sun shining in the small window.

The bathroom also looked new and clean. The toiletries were also a bit upscale.

Cost

The rooms are a bit cheaper through the winter and early spring. Although we had initially booked our room at the rate listed on the hotel website, they were able to lower the cost to the wedding rate upon check-in because we were staying at the hotel for a wedding.
