Botanical Cactus Gardens

The Ethel M Botanical Cactus Gardens are located right next to Ethels Chocolate Factory, so if you're in the area, be sure to visit them both. Both attractions are only a short detour away from the Hoover Dam.

The botanical cactus garden has a large variety of cacti on display. Each cactus is labeled with a tag that identifies the cactus variety, and occasionally displays tidbits of information about the type of cactus.

This attraction received such a high rating because we're from an area where cacti don't grow, so everything here was new to us. If you live in an area that does have cacti, then the cactus garden is probably nothing special to you.

Christmas Cacti

This cactus has been decorated for Christmas - it is covered in lights

If you are visiting in late November or December, the cactus garden may be decorated for Christmas! During this visit, the garden was busy as workers wrapped each individual cactus in Christmas lights. It would be very neat to see it illuminated!
