Cha Cha Coconuts is a tropical bar restaurant located on St. Armand's Circle, in Sarasota, FL. They offer bar-style food in a very casual bar/grill family-style restaurant. The food was all very basic. We decided to go here because their sweet potato fries looked delicious. They were excellent. Unfortunately, some of the other food we tried here wasn't so good.

The restaurant was seat yourself. We managed to find a table outside, and someone came over to help us shortly after. The service was adequate.

Items Ordered
Cha Cha-Cheesy Quesadilla
Jack and Cheddar cheese, onions, green peppers and your choice of filling (bean for $7.95, chicken for $8.95, or shrimp for $9.95) on a flour tortilla. Served with sour cream and salsa.
We ordered the bean quesadilla. It was ok - there wasn't anything offensive about it. It contained some black beans, melted cheese, some peppers, and quite a few onions. It could have used more filling. The quesadilla was mostly empty.
Jamaican "Jerk" Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries
Boneless breast of chicken basted with a spicy jerk marinade and grilled
The sweet potato fries were delicious. They also came with a really good apple cinnamon sauce.
The sandwich was just a piece of chicken on a bun with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a pickle. The chicken had some spices on it (and was mildly spicy), but was very dry and mostly bland. The sandwich was very plain, and a disappointment. I would not order it again.
