Yummy Grill, located at the corner with Bathurst in Thornhill, serves a selection of Mediterranean food. They have a counter available for ordering take-out, or you can take a seat at a table and order from the menu.

After ordering, our table was brought a plate of pickle slices, pickled cabbage, and a Jalapeño pepper, and a plate of pitas.

Greek Salad - Small

The small Greek salad was a decent size, good for sharing between 2 people as an appetizer. Although the salad had a lettuce base, there was still a bit of tomato and cucumber. The dressing was served on the side, and was a typical Greek salad dressing.

Pita Sandwiches - Falafel

Falafel Sandwich

The falafel sandwich did not come with anything on the side, but you could add some pickles to your sandwich if you wanted. I ordered the falafel with a whole wheat pita, and there were a couple of small holes that formed, making a bit of a mess. The falafel pitas are fairly large and have about 5 or 6 falafels in them. The falafels are quite good and just a little bit spicy. I think the hummus may have had to much garlic in it - it left an awful taste in my mouth later. I could taste rotting garlic for the next 24 hours. Otherwise, the falafel sandwich was quite good.

A large parking lot provides plenty of parking spaces.

Cost

Most entrees are less than $15.
