Willy's is an American bar-style restaurant located in the upper east side of Manhattan. We visited for brunch, although we saw other people eating french fries that looked delicious.

Everything was of pretty average quality. Everything was pretty good, but nothing really stood out as being excellent. The food and decor had a homely and family-friendly feel.

Very casual

Cost

On the cheaper side for brunch in Manhattan. Most brunch items were $10 or less.

Service

The restaurant was somewhat busy - we had to wait 5 minutes for a table to be freed up before we were seated.

Items Ordered

Cappuccino

Cost:$4.50

This cappuccino was an average cappuccino. It had a bit of cinnamon on top, which was a nice touch.

French Toast

Cost:$7.95

The french toast was served made from bread that was very thick. The bread tasted quite fresh. It was also soft and fluffy. Taste wise, the french toast was good but pretty plain.

It did come with strawberries, which was a nice touch. It was also served with syrup.

Vegetables Omelette

broccoli, onions, spinach, mushrooms
Cost:$7.95

I requested that some bacon be added to the vegetable omelette, because bacon makes everything better. The omelette was pretty good, but it could have used more toppings. I didn't find a single piece of broccoli in the omelette (although there was bacon).

The omelette came with some roasted potatoes that were pretty good. One side of them had been baking in lots of oil, so it was crispy and delicious.
