William's is a cafe serving coffee, soups, salads, sandwiches, and a few other entrees. Their specialty cakes make it a great place to go for dessert. On this occasion I was there for a light lunch.

Soup and Salad Combo

California Salad

The California salad is one of my favorite salads. It's a wonderful combination of fruits, cheese, and nuts over lettuce and grated carrots. This is one of the few salads that always seems to have just the right amount of dressing. The dressing adds a hint of vinegar without drenching the salad.

Vegetable Soup

The vegetarian vegetable soup was a pretty typical tomato vegetable soup. It tasted no better than if I'd opened up a can of soup and heated it up.

The garlic bread that came with the combo was excellent. It looked like it was made on whole wheat baguette. It was topped with a nice amount of butter, garlic, and herbs.
