The White Tiger Habitat is located in the Mirage Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. At certain periods during the day, there is a white tiger here. (At other times, there is a yellow tiger, and some times the habitat is empty).

When the tigers are out, usually they are sleeping. Your best chance to see them in action is when the handlers are there to help the tigers into or out of the habitat. That was when we saw this tiger walk around the habitat before leaving with the trainers. Then shortly after it came back out and went back to lying down.

I didn't think that the exhibit compared to the MGM Grand Lion Habitat - that display had handlers playing with the lions, feeding them, and entertaining the crowd with stories and facts. At the Mirage, there is no audience acknowledgment or show from the handlers. The only information available is a short video that plays on TV screens in the viewing area.

Still, the tigers are beautiful, and if you get lucky, you might even be able to see one yawn (as pictured here).
