Cafe at the Tower of London

If you spend any length of time at Tower of London, you may get hungry. The cafe at the tower of london is a decent spot to stop for lunch or a snack. They offer hot meals, sandwiches, coffee/tea, as well as cakes and pastries. We stopped here for lunch during our visit. In general, the food was pretty average, but it was also convenient. There are also a number of food vendors just outside the Tower of London.

The cafe is cafeteria-style, where you gather the items you want and then take them to a cashier to pay.

This dish came with three sausages, fried onions, some chips, and carrots. The carrots and chips were both pretty bland. The sausages were fairly good, although a bit dry. The onions were well fried and very sweet.

The only reason I purchased this item was because of the yorkshire pudding. It was delicious. The meat itself was somewhat salty, the carrots bland, and the beets (hidden under the yorkshire pudding in the picture) nicely pickled.
