The Tower Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in London. It's located just a short walk away from Tower of London. With the price of admission, visitors can go up the bridge, watch a short video about its construction, and walk across the Thames river. The admission price also admits visitors to the engine room located on the other side of the river.

The exhibits and videos weren't too exciting, but the bridge did provide a decent view of the surrounding area. The exhibits focused on the construction and history of the bridge, and also featured some interesting facts about other bridges around the world.

The engine room described how the engines worked to provide power for the bridge. The text was available in many different languages. The exhibit was all very simple and (as an engineer) I found myself wanting to know more about how the power to lift the bridge was actually created and delivered.

Overall this wasn't a must-see attraction, but if you're in the area and are somewhat curious about the bridge, or just want to see the view from the top, it could be worth visiting.

Cost

Admission to the Tower Bridge and the engine room exhibition was £7.

Estimated Visiting Time

Visitors should allow approximately 30 minutes to go up the bridge, watch the videos, and walk across. 20-30 minutes should be sufficient for visiting the engine room.
