The Room

We rented a suite at the westin hotel in Palo Alto for one night. It had a good sized bedroom and a slightly smaller main room. The main room had a love seat, a smaller 1-person seat, and a desk with a chair. Both the bedroom and the seating room had an LCD TV. The room was a good size and had everything you'd expect from a standard 4-star hotel. The bathroom was also pretty standard for a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is in a pretty good location, just a short 3-minute walk away from University Ave. where there are lots of stores and restaurants. The street in front of the hotel, El Camino Real, is a large 8-lane highway, but there is a sidewalk you can walk on. The hotel is also a 10-minute walk from the Stanford campus (but it's so spread out that if you're going there you might want a bike/car).

Cost

The suite cost just under $400 (including tax) for a Sunday night. There are both cheaper standard rooms and more expensive suite rooms available.
