The Sony Centre is a theater in downtown Toronto, located at the corner of Yonge Street and Front Street. We visited at the end of November, and the lobby of the theater was nicely decorated for Christmas.

The theater itself has fairly comfortable chairs. They feature padded seats and backs, although the arm rests can't be moved. Leg room is tight, as is usual in theaters. There is at least one upper balcony. The theater is quite large, so if you are located near the back of the orchestra section (or in the balcony), it is difficult to make out the faces of the actors on stage.

Parking

Since the theater is located in downtown Toronto, there is plenty of parking available (for a price). There are many parking garages located nearby - simply drive around the block, and you'll see plenty of parking lots and garages. Rates vary from night-to-night, depending on what other events are taking place that day.

Available Concessions

At intermission, the usual items are available for purchase (Coffee or tea for $2, iced tea for $2.50, cookies, ice cream for $4.75, pretzels for $5.75, etc). Be prepared to pay more than you would like. If you walk outside of the theater, you can probably find a sausage vendor in front of union station (located on Front Street) that will sell you a more substantial product for less money.
