The Field Museum - Corner Bakery

Corner Bakery is a chain that serves soup and sandwiches. This location is conveniently located inside The Field Museum. There was some seating in the main hall (which was bright and quite beautiful, but also noisy), and additional seating in the back of the corner bakery. There were a couple windows in the back area that provided a pretty good view of the Chicago skyline, but unfortunately outdoor seating was not available.

Cost

Sandwiches are between $6 and $7.

Dress

This location is located inside the museum, so casual dress, such as shorts and a T-shirt, is fine.

The Chicken Pomodori was a piece of chicken with cheese and a small amount of veggies in a grilled sandwich. The "pesto mayo" was definitely more "mayo" than "pesto" - I'm not a big mayonnaise fan, and would probably get the sandwich without the mayo next time. The sandwich was served with a pickle and chips.
