Inside the Compass Rose

The Compass Rose is a bar located on the 22nd floor of the Westin Hotel in Tokyo. Since there aren't many tall buildings in Tokyo, being 22 stories up gives you quite a nice view of the surrounding city. The bar itself is also nicely decorated and offers a warm, comfortable feeling.

When we visited on a Tuesday, we were the only people at the bar. It may be busier during weekends. Although we were the only people there, there was still a pianist playing live music for the first half of our visit.

The View

There is a ¥2000 cover charge for all guests at The Compass Rose. In addition, drinks are not cheap. A pot of tea was around ¥1200.
