The Burger Garage in Long Island City

The Burger Garage is a fast food burger restaurant in Long Island City. The restaurant is decorated like an old-style diner playing a 50's music track in the background. They have an indoor seating area, but also offer delivery if you live in the area. The food was simple but tasty.

After placing your order at the cash register, you get a number. You can then sit at an available seat at the booth or bar and wait for your number. When your number is called you pick up your order from the counter.

The burgers come with the usual set of toppings for free. The burger was nicely grilled and juicy. The vegetarian portobello burger was surprisingly really good, although maybe because it was kind of greasy. The sweet potatoes fries were nice and sweet. The fried onions were really crispy and are a great addition to the burger. Unlike regular onion rings, these were incredibly thin (so they had a lot of surface area for frying). The coffee milkshake was really creamy and had a great sweet coffee taste.
