Terra Cotta is a thin crust pizza restaurant in Windsor. It really doesn't look like much from the outside, but the pizza is quite good. The pizzas are baked in a brick oven that they assembled (there are pictures in the restaurant of it being built). When we visited, on Tuesday, they had a "2-for-1 pizza" deal. As long as every member of the group purchased drinks, you could buy 2 pizzas and get the cheaper one free! At the end of the meal, we were provided caramels.

Cost

$6.25-$13 for a pizza. The pizzas are quite reasonably priced, especially for the quality.

Dress

Casual - shorts and a T-shirt is fine.

Items Ordered

Stewart's Key Lime

Cost:$2.75

Terra Cotta offers quite the selection of Stewart's and Jone's premium sodas. The key lime soda tasted like lime, and was quite good.

Garden Salad

Lettuce, tomato, carrots, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, dressed with our house vinagrette.
Cost:$3.95 regular; $2.95 small

We ordered the regular salad, and shared it among four people - it was quite large for a $4 salad. The salad consisted mostly of romaine lettuce, with a small (very small) amount of other veggies. It was nothing special, but definitely good value.

La Blonda

Pesto, mozzarella with a touch of feta cheese, spanish onions, roasted yellow peppers, zucchini, artichokes, chicken.
Cost:$12.95

The La Blonda pizza was quite tasty. The vegetables had a nice flavor, and the spices on the pizza also fit quite nicely. The pizza did taste quite salty - the feta cheese probably had something to do with that. It had some large garlic pieces, and could have benefitted from more pesto. This pizza didn't have any tomato sauce. The pizza crust was nice and dry (not oily).

Fromaggi e Funghi

Tomato sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and swiss cheeses, garlic and mushrooms.
Cost:$9.50

The Fromaggi e Funghi pizza was a more traditional-style pizza, in that it had tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. As with the other pizza, the dry, thin-crust was excellent.
