Snowflake Lane at Bellevue Square

The Snowflake Lane is described as "holiday spectacle of live toy soldiers, exhilarating music, swirling snowflakes and glittering lights". That's definitely a bit optimistic. Instead, there are a few lights shining on buildings, and about 30 people (who are dressed up) playing drums along with a pre-recorded soundtrack. The "swirling snowflakes" are soap suds that fall down from on top of some of the nearby buildings and get stuck in your hair.

I thought the Snowflake Lane performance was cute, but that's about it. The musical talent of the drummers certainly wasn't anything to be wowed over. My criticism is a direct result of me being in the wrong age group for such a performance. The target audience was children between 4-10 years old. They seemed to be getting much more enjoyment out of the performance.

The entire performance lasted approximately 15-20 minutes.
