Overall Experience: 7 / 10
Check-In Date: Sunday, June 5, 2011

The Miyako Sheraton hotel is a 4-star hotel located in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit outside of the city center, and a 7-minute walk from the nearest subway station (Shirokanedai on the Namboku Line). The hotel offers a shuttle bus every 15 minutes, but when we were visiting it didn't start running until 10a. Although the hotel looked fairly busy, a number of their services had been cut back after the big earthquake in March 2011.

The hotel rooms were fairly spacious 4-star rooms and also offered Toto toilets (that offer to wash you clean when you're done). The staff spoke decent English. The hotel provided free wired internet access in the rooms. Room service was available, and there was a gym that opened at 6:30am. The hotel had a buffet breakfast available for an additional charge that we didn't visit.

Cost

When we visited, rooms were approx. $120 USD/night. My impression was that that was slightly lower than average, but perhaps that's because japan is experiencing a decline in tourism since the earthquake.
