Savore is an Italian restaurant in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. The food was pretty good. They have homemade pastas and various meat dishes. We sat on the patio which was really nice and on a quiet side street. When I went in to use the bathroom, I found that it was very noisy inside.

Reservations

We did not have reservations but were able to get a table early in the evening. The restaurant became full by about 8pm.

Items Ordered

Pasta Special

Cost:$18

This dish was the pasta special for the evening. It consisted of a penne pasta with a light tomato and eggplant sauce and some delicious cheese on top. The cheese tasted a bit like Parmesan, but softer. The sauce was delicious and the portion was just right.

Agnello

Roasted lamb chops with truffles and Pinot Noir reduction
Cost:$29

The wine sauce was excellent. The lamb was cooked just right and was tender. The dish came with some mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The sauce just made everything taste great.
