Interior of Roy Thomson Hall

Roy Thomson Hall is located in downtown Toronto, at the corner of Simcoe Street and Wellington. It was renovated in 2002, and looks fairly modern on the interior (although there still is a lot of concrete). The seats are comfortable, although the large capacity (2500+) of the hall means that many seats are far away from the stage. The interior pictures shown here are taken from section C5, row C.

The exterior of Roy Thomson Hall looks like a "glass volcano". It has a very distinct architectural shape that is easily recognizable. Inside, there is a floor level, and two levels with balconies. Behind the stage, there is a large pipe organ.
