Peep is a Thai restaurant in the SoHo neighborhood of NYC serving typical Thai food. The food was all pretty good at fairly low prices.
The restaurant had a modern decor, and looked a bit like a night club with dark lighting and loud music. The bathrooms were all dark and had one way glass so you could see out into the restaurant while you were inside.

We had no problem getting a table on a Friday evening, even though the restaurant was fairly busy.
Items Ordered
Chicken Sa-te Skewers
with peanut dipThe chicken skewers were grilled chicken with a slightly charred exterior. The sauce had a strong peanut flavor and went well with the chicken. The chicken was not the best quality and was pretty fatty.
Green Curry
chicken, beef, shrimp vegetable, or tofu with bamboo, sweet basil, and eggplantThe green curry dish was nice and spicy. The sauce tasted like it had a coconut or cream base and was pretty filling. This dish was ordered with the vegetables, and there was a decent amount and nice variety of vegetables in addition to the large pieces of eggplant and bamboo slivers. Rice was ordered separately and came in a dish on the side.
Ginger Sauteed Plate
chicken, beef, shrimp vegetable, or tofu with mushroom, pineapple, and cashewThe ginger sauteed plate had a soupy ginger sauce over vegetables. The sauce had a very strong ginger taste and a bit of sweetness to it. This dish was also ordered with vegetables, the same as the curry. This dish reminded me of my favorite Thai dish - cashew chicken. It had the same cashews and grilled pineapple, but the extra spice from the ginger was a nice twist.
