Panera Bread is a chain of "soup, salad, sandwiches, and pastry" restaurants. I've always been impressed with most of what I order at a Panera Bread. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Service
Go up to the counter to place your order. At this location, you are given a pager that buzzes when your order is ready. (In some other locations, they just call out your number). At that time, go to the counter to pick up your order.
Items Ordered
Asian Sesame Chicken
All-natural citrus-herb chicken, romaine lettuce, fresh cilantro, sliced almonds, sesame seeds, crispy wonton strips & our reduced-sugar Asian sesame vinaigrette.
This salad was one of the better Asian Chicken salads I've had. It had a great mix of lettuce, chicken, and wonton strips. The sesame vinaigrette dressing is quite good, and adds just the right amount of sweetness to the salad. This salad is also quite large - it may be overwhelming for just one person, so you may want to share it with someone else.
Baked Potato Soup
Home-style cuts of russet potato simmered with select seasonings and smoked bacon in a rich cream sauce flavored with spring onion and snipped chives. Served Monday, Wednesday & Saturday.
The baked potato soup was very good. It was nice and thick, with a strong potato flavor. Soup is always more fun when you serve it in a bread bowl, and this one was no exception. The bread bowl was a sourdough bread. It went very well with the soup.
