The National Geographic Cafe was a small restaurant in London attached to the National Geographic Store. The cafe was nothing special. They had an average selection of pastries and some other hot and cold items. There was only one person for far too many tables, so the service was very poor. We had to go up a couple of time to get the waitress' attention, and even then, it took her a few minutes before she was finally able to make her way over.

Very casual

Cost

Somewhat overpriced compared to other similar cafes in the area, but that's to be expected at a place with a name like 'national geographic'.

Items Ordered

Organic Muesli, Ham and Cheese Croissant, Cappuccino, Vitafresh

Organic Muesli served with Greek Yoghurt and Honey or Hot, Organic, Milk
Ham and Cheese Croissant
Cappuccino Classic
Vitafresh - Strawberry and Orange Juice
Cost:Muesli: £3.50
Croissant: £3.00
Cappuccino: £2.70 / £3.25
Vitafresh: £4.40

The ham and cheese croissant was quite good and tasted buttery. It could have been warmed a bit more - the cheese was only slightly melting on the edges. The muesli was served with a dish of honey on the side because it wasn't sweetened at all on its own. The yogurt was a little bit sour, but the honey made it pretty good. The orange strawberry juice was made fresh and was pretty tasty, but probably wasn't worth the price.
