Every Fourth of July, Nathan's Famous holds their annual hotdog eating competition. The rest of the year, it's a fun place to visit to experience part of Coney Island's history. The building is open and was a bit chaotic. There are many lines around the building, so if you are waiting in a long line, you may want to look around for another.
