Nando's is a global chain of restaurants from South Africa. We visited one of their many locations in Cape Town. They're a fast food restaurant that offers slightly higher-than-average food for this type of restaurant (you eat it with a knife and fork rather than a burger/sandwich).

Go up to the counter to order, then you can sit down. They'll bring over your order when it's ready.

This looked like a new item on their menu, possibly with promotional pricing. There was a big banner advertising it right next to the counter. It was a pretty decent stir fry with chicken and vegetables served over rice.

1/4 Chicken, Chips & a Roll

The 1/4 chicken with chips seemed to be a pretty typical item from Nando's. You could choose the spiciness level of the sauce. I choose to get the second hottest spice level, and it was pretty spicy! I'm glad I didn't get the hottest one.

The fries were quite plain tasting.
