McGinnis Frontrow is a sports bar in Waterloo. Monday was "Monday Night Football", and McGinnis Frontrow was giving out free nachos (with a really gross sauce) to celebrate.

Cost

Entrees are around $10 each

Dress

Shorts/T-shirt are perfectly acceptable; it's a very casual bar restaurant.

Items Ordered

Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Breaded chicken breast tossed in the BBQ sauce of choice served on a grilled kaiser with pickle, onion, lettuce, and tomato.
Cost:$9.99

The chicken breast appeared to be quite large - it barely fit on the bun! However, it was very thin, and really not all that filling. The chicken was also not the nicest piece of meat - there were some fatty parts that were chewy and unpleasant. The BBQ sauce was nice and spicy, as desired. The french fries were very dry and really quite tasteless. I tried to give them some flavor by covering them with ketchup, but they still were sub-par fries.

Pulled Pork Sandwich

Tender BBQ marinated pork piled high on a kaiser with fresh lettuce and tomato.
Cost:$8.99

The sandwich suffered from a lack of barbecue sauce. The pork didn't have any flavor by itself, so it tasted quite bland. As above, the fries were dry and flavorless.
