This is a hotdog/hamburger/beverage stand in the new town square, in Prague. I don't know if "Ledove vychlazena" is the name for it, but that's the name that is on the sign. This street vendor sold a wide variety of things - from sausages and schnitzel to beer and shots of hard liquor. I was disappointed in the quality of the food offered, and the vendor didn't give us the correct change for our purchase.

Cost

Prices here are pretty average for vendors in the touristy areas. You can definitely find cheaper food just a couple blocks away. We paid 120 Kc for the sausage and schnitzel that we ordered, but the vendor didn't give us the correct amount of change. That cost us an extra 40 Kc.

Items Ordered

Sausage

Cost:I'm not sure - there was no simple menu showing prices for just a sausage.

The sausage was really very typical - just what you'd expect from a sausage on the street. The vendor had it pre-cooked, but heated it up for about 30 seconds before handing it over (so it was warm when we got it).

Schnitzel

Cost:Also unknown, but the schnitzel plus the sausage cost 120 Kc, so it probably cost around 60 Kc.

The schnitzel was of poor quality. It didn't have much flavor, at all. The vendor dipped the schnitzel back into the deep fryer for a few seconds before giving it to us, so at least the schnitzel was warm. It was also fairly large - it was larger than the bun it was placed in.
