La Storia is an Italian restaurant located in one of the larger plazas in old Nice. The plaza is filled with a market and many restaurants with table seating in the plaza. It's a great spot to sit for a meal on a nice day. There is no car traffic through this plaza, just people traffic. The old buildings offer a nice backdrop. The food was all quite good and reasonably priced.

Casual - shorts and t-shirt are fine

Most entrees were 10€-15€
Service
The waiter spoke English acceptably well. The menu was also mostly translated into English.

Millefeuille de Tomate et Mozzarella
Mesclun, tomato and mozzarella millefeuille
This salad was really good. It was like a lasagna of layered tomatoes and delicious fresh mozzarella cheese with some pesto ontop.
Linguine Primavera
Zucchini, eggplant, onion, asparagus, tomato, sweet pepper, garlic, olive oil
This pasta dish had lots of grilled vegetables in it. There was a light tomato sauce which was pretty good. It can be difficult to get vegetable servings in restaurants in France, so this was a refreshing change.
Pizza Végétarienne
Tomato, mozzarella, mushroom, sweet pepper, olive, onion, eggplant
The pizza had a dry thin crust. There was a good amount of cheese and vegetables on the pizza. The onions would have been better (less spicy) if they had been cooked.
