Kahunaville is a restaurant located in the Treasure Island Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. It's located right across from the Mystere Theater. It's a typical American restaurant with a jungle theme. It's decorated quite nicely, and the food is fun and tasty.
Fountain Show
The dining room is quite nicely decorated. One of the walls is covered with a decorative fountain display. The mini fountain show is approximately 2 minutes long, and plays approximately every 15 minutes (I wasn't timing, but we saw about three shows of them over an hour long lunch).
Cost
Sandwiches are around $10, entrees are around $18-$25.
Dress
Shorts and a t-shirt are fine.
Reservations
Reservations are probably not needed (and I don't know if they're accepted). Every time I've been here (for lunch) it's been fairly empty.
Items Ordered
Big Island Salad
French salad greens, provolone, mozzarella, pineapple, strawberries, mandarin oranges and pecans tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette and topped with marinated tomatoes and toasted coconut.
This is a large salad, and it includes everything mentioned above (although there are definitely more greens than other fruits). The salad is also served with a slice of fried plantain. The flavors all worked really well together making a fun and tasty salad.
Spicy Firecracker Chicken Wrap
Tender chicken fingers fried to perfection and tossed in our signature spicy firecracker sauce. Wrapped in a garlic herb tortilla with crisp lettuce greens, roasted cashews, seasoned tomatoes, and diced red onion. Served with Kahuna fries.
What a bargain! This is a delicious wrap, although it is fairly spicy. There is an ample amount of chicken, and the batter and sauce is both tropical sweet and spicy. The fries are also very good - thinner than usual fries.
