Jane is a pretty typical American restaurant located on Houston street in NYC, just north of soho. We had heard that Jane had pretty good food for brunch, and weren't disappointed. Although their sunday brunch menu is their official brunch day, their saturday menu also had both breakfast and lunch items.

Brunch was fairly casual.

Grilled Chicken

The grilled chicken sandwich was a pretty typical sandwich. It had some arugula and cheese on it with a couple tomato slices. The french fries were rosemary flavored and were better than average.
Vanilla Bean French Toast
creme brulee battered brioche, warm maple syrup
This french toast was the best french toast I have ever had - and I have tried many. The pieces were very thick, but incredibly moist. The creme brulee made them incredibly soft and creamy - it almost tasted like eating cake batter. This french toast is the reason the restaurant is rated so highly - if you visit Jane, there is almost no point ordering anything else. The french toast is a must have.
