Indian Taj in Jackson Heights

Indian Taj has two locations in New York City. This location in Jackson Heights is in the center of Little India in Queens. There are several Indian restaurants in the area and they all offer a similar lunch buffet. This restaurant is not quite as fancy looking as their location in Greenwich village. It's a little more family friendly and larger. The food is very similar between both locations.

The lunch buffet at this location was more extensive than the buffet at their Greenwich location. The buffet had a variety of vegetable, lamb and chicken dishes. They also brought over some fresh hot naan bread. Everything was kept hot and stocked, even when we visited in the middle of the afternoon. The food was all pretty typical good Indian food. Nothing was very spicy.
