The Providence Hilton was a nice but typical hotel. I would not classify it as a luxury hotel, although it had some luxury features. The bedroom was a nice size and included a medium sized flat-screen TV. The bathroom had nice stone tiles.

One thing that really bothered me about the rooms was that the windows could not be opened. While the weather was really nice out, our only option was to sleep with the air conditioning coming on several times during the night.

Location

The Providence Hilton is in the middle between downtown Providence and the Federal Hill area of Providence. It's a great location if you are there for touring the city. It was also a short walk from the train station and bus terminal. It's at the opposite end of the city from Brown University, but even that is just a short 10-15 minute walk away.

Cost

We were able to book the room on hotwire for only $89 per night. Normally the room would have been twice that price. There was also no free wifi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby.
