The primary reason to come to this restaurant is for the view. The restaurant has a large arched window that looks directly at the Statue of Liberty. In the summer, they have tables outside that probably offer an even better view. Otherwise, the food was average at best and overpriced for what we got.

Items Ordered
Stracciatella
Chicken broth with eggs, parmesan cheese, and Italian parsleyThe soup had a bit of spicy pepper in it that made you feel warm from the inside. It was nice on a cold day. Besides the broth, it was really just a lot of egg white.
Risotto, Pollo, Zucca e Piselli
Italian rice with chicken, peas, pumpkins and parmesan cheeseThe risotto was average, but the addition of the pumpkin gave it a nice sweet taste. There was actually very little chicken in it.
Ravioli alla Positanese
Cheese ravioli with sausage, mushrooms, peas and tomato sauceThe ravioli tasted like something I can buy in a store. The sausage in the sauce was a little bit spicy, but otherwise there was nothing special about this dish.
Tiramisu
Gigino style tiramisuThis dessert was a big disappointment. It looked like it had melted on the plate and it tasted very bland. It was one of the worst Tiramisu's I've ever had.
