Falafel Palace is a small falafel shop located across from the parliament buildings of the Netherlands in the Hague. It is a cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive cafes located just down the street. They serve Middle Eastern style falafels and meat wraps.

The seating in the restaurant is bar style. There are also a few tables set up outside on the street where you can sit.

You place your order at the counter and wait at the counter for your food. It seemed to me like I should pay when I got my food, but I guess you don't need to pay until you are done eating if you eat there (rather than getting your food to go).

Cost

Prices were around €3.50 for a sandwich.

Falafel

Cost:€3.50

The falafel pita comes with 4 falafels and a serve yourself salad bar. The salad bar includes tomato, cucumber, lettuce, carrots, corn, pickles, and tahini. I found it difficult to use the provided utensils to push down the salads and ended up having half the pita with just toppings and half the pita with just falafels. That was annoying, but the falfels themselves were quite good.

Service

I found the service to be quite slow - I waited quite a bit before they took my order even though there weren't that many people in line.

Dress

Very casual - this is basically a fast food restaurant.
