Falafel Hatooka is a falafel place on Ahuza street in Ra'anana, Israel. One unique feature of this place is the fact that they put french fries in the falafel sandwich. What a great idea!

This falafel counter has a few outdoor tables and chairs just outside the restaurant. They aren't covered though, so if it's cold or raining you'll want to take your falafels to go.

Cost

Falafel Hatooka offers a good product for a good price. A full falafel sandwich is only 13 NIS, and you can even order a half sandwich for 7 NIS.

Dress

Very casual. Since you're just walking up to the counter and ordering, it really doesn't matter what you're wearing.

Service

Just walk up to the counter, and place your order. The people there speak Hebrew, so hopefully you do too. Otherwise, you can probably get by with a bit of pointing and gesturing. They construct your sandwich while you're standing at the counter, and ask you what you want on it. They offer salad, pickled ingredients, and french fries. (They put the fries on top, so you can pick them out and eat them before starting into the sandwich).

This was probably the spot where we got the best value for our money. We went here on two separate occasions. One time they put five falafels in the pita, and the other time they put in seven. They stuff the pita very full with the items you request in it - salad, tahini, pickles, or sauerkraut. The falafels were quite good.
