Ethel M Chocolate Factory

The Ethel M Chocolate Factory (More recently "Ethels Chocolates") are located just outside of Las Vegas, right next to Ethel M Botanical Cactus Gardens. Both attractions are free, and a great place to stop on the way to or from the Hoover Dam.

The Tour

The factory hallway

The factory tour isn't much of a tour - there is simply a hallway that you can walk through. One side of the hallway contains facts and information about Ethel M and the chocolate factory, while the other side of the hallway is a glass window overlooking the factory.

The factory is only in production during part of the day. Unfortunately, there are no advance schedules, and production is done as various types of chocolate are needed, so it's possible that you'll see the factory when it is not being used.

At the end of the tour, you are presented with a type of chocolate to try. Enjoy!

The Chocolate Factory

The chocolate store is quite large, and boasts a huge variety of chocolates that you can purchase to go. The chocolates are reasonably priced - 12 chocolates were available for $14 during this visit. The chocolates were all of high quality, and very tasty.

Cost

Both the Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour and Ethels Botanical Cactus Garden are offered free of charge.

Estimated Visiting Time

If the factory is in production, you may want to spend 15 minutes looking at it. The wall takes approximately 10 minutes to read, and you may want to spend another 10 minutes looking through the retail store.
