The Escher museum in The Hague houses a collection of M.C. Escher's artwork. Since the museum is located in the Lange Voorhout Palace, it is also an opportunity to admire the historic architecture.

The museum contained a biography of Escher, and some information about how he made his artwork. Two floors in the palace contain his artwork. Each room had a few panels describing several of the works in the room. The pictures are very unique and captivating. I easily spent several minutes looking at some of the more interesting images. There was a 15 minute slide show showing his works with a narrative about his life. The third floor contains some interactive exhibits about optical illusions.

There are also a number of interesting chandeliers in each of the rooms. The chandeliers were created by a Dutch sculptor and are quite interesting themselves.
